This website cannot access the app or project
This website is built and deployed as a separate informational package. It contains only the copy and image assets needed to display these pages. It has no route to the Cumin app’s local database, your recipe library, the development project, source files, or files on your device.
The site has no sign-in, database, upload, contact form, analytics, advertising, application cookies, or third-party scripts. Infrastructure providers may set strictly necessary security or anti-abuse cookies. Cumin does not use those cookies for advertising or behavioral analytics. Email-support links open your mail application; the website does not submit or retain the message.
Website safeguards
- HTTPS is required for the production site.
- A restrictive Content Security Policy limits executable and remote content.
- Framing is blocked to reduce clickjacking risk.
- Browser permissions such as camera, microphone, and location are disabled.
- Referrer information is minimized and content-type sniffing is blocked.
How the app protects data
Local-first storage
Recipe and planning data is stored inside the app’s platform sandbox. Other apps cannot browse that container under normal Apple platform rules.
Apple-managed sync
Optional synchronization and sharing use Apple CloudKit and your Apple Account rather than a Cumin-operated account service. Network transport and cloud storage protections are provided by Apple.
Permission-based access
Reminders, photos, files, notifications, and other protected resources are requested through Apple permission and picker interfaces. Cumin uses them only for the feature you choose.
Portable backups
Cumin can create portable archive files so you can keep a backup or move your library. Treat exported archives like any personal file: store them in a location you trust and share them only with intended recipients.
Your part in keeping data safe
- Keep your Apple devices and operating systems up to date.
- Protect your Apple Account with a strong password and two-factor authentication.
- Review Cumin’s permissions in system settings.
- Keep exported archives in trusted, access-controlled storage.
- Check who has access before sharing an iCloud collection.
